Ralph Provisero (b. 1967) is a contemporary American artist whose works have been exhibited in museums, galleries and public spaces in North America and Europe, and as part of important collections including the Martin Z. Margulies Collection, the University of Miami’s Lowe Art Museum, the Deering Estate at Cutler and Miami-Dade County Public Schools. In addition, Provisero is a member of the Curatorial Advisory Board of the MDC Museum of Art + Design. Currently teaching at New World School of the Arts, he has previously taught at Florida International University, Miami Dade College and the University of Miami, and served as a visiting artist at Kansas City Art Institute and Washington University in St. Louis. In 2007, he received the Atlantic Center for the Arts/Joan Mitchell Foundation Scholarship for Visual Artists in Residence. Provisero received an MFA from the University of Miami School of Art and Art History in 2010 and a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute in 1995. He lives and works in Miami.
